Sony has unveiled its latest variant of PlayStation-PS4. Sony introduced this gaming unit to video game lovers on Monday and the first look of it suggest a black box console just like the other previous PlayStations.
Many people expected this to be a floating white sphere console but it seems that they have been disappointed a little bit. But on the other hand, the good news is that this device has been priced at $399 which is about $100 less than another popular video game which is soon going to be launched by Microsoft. The special thing about PlayStation disc based games is that they do not need to be played by using any kind of authentication or online connection. Infact PS4 will not stop working if you haven’t authenticated in a period of 24 hours.
According to the president of Sony Worldwide studios, Sony has about more than 30 PS4 games under development process as of now, out of which 12 are new intellectual properties. PS4 shall be packed in with Dual Shock 4 controller system which is Sony’s best till date. The handgrip on this controller is much longer than those on the other previous dual Shock controllers designed by Sony.
